There’s nothing more romantic than being in Bali this time of the year, and Seminyak offers plenty of activities to enjoy the special bond shared with your significant other.
We have put together a list of suggested places to visit – and just for fun, we’ve laid it out like a travel itinerary.
For the next day to be seamless and enjoyable, we suggest that you prepare everything upfront. Reserve a motorbike for tomorrow if you haven’t done so, and book a seat at restaurants that require reservations.
You could ask our friendly staff at Bvilla to help you surprise your partner. As you two will spend much of your time outside the villa during the day, you may want to surprise your partner with something special when you return to the villa – we can arrange that for you.
Some ideas include: decorating the bedroom with materials that you’ve picked out of specialty shops or placing a romantic chocolate box on the living room table in front of the TV for a surprise movie date.
The cool pleasant morning air and gentle sunlight won’t stay for long, so have breakfast at an open-air restaurant, such as Nook. The restaurant opens up to a sawah, traditional rice fields, which look spectacular all season, particularly in February when the rice paddies are still green. Enjoy a great selection of Indonesian and Western food, starting as early as 8 am.
2. Visit unique shops
Markets are fun to visit because you can haggle for all sorts of souvenirs and clothes – and they are pretty much omnipresent along the seashore. But if you want to visit specialty shops and chic boutiques, we highly recommend visiting these shops:
Kim Soo specializes in homeware and design space. You have the feeling of being in an antique store, even though all items are completely new. They are cleverly designed yet eccentric with bohemian touches.
Drifter is a surf shop at its core, but there are plenty of cool beachwear and accessories for non-surfers as well. It’s not just comfort and style. When your T-shirt is designed by the same company that takes custom surfboard engineering seriously, you’ll know that it’ll be a high-quality T-shirt.
Who would have thought that delicious gourmet can be made entirely out of plants? Kynd Community offers vegan cuisine that goes above and beyond simply being animal product-free. Enjoy an array of salads, smoothies, and other amazing plant-based creations.
If it’s still too hot outside, why not cool off with some gelato at Gusto Gelato & Caffé? This ice cream and gelato parlor is not just famous in the Seminyak neighborhood, but perhaps throughout South Bali – it keeps getting positive referrals! Have you ever tried a chili-chocolate flavor combination? If not, that’s one reason to come here.
4. Afternoon and sunset
It starts to cool down at 4 pm, and this is the perfect time to settle down on the sand at Petitenget Beach. You could pick any other beach along Seminyak’s shoreline, but we recommend Petitenget Beach because it is much more spacious, with the fewer crowd, giving you two enough private rooms to relax, bask in healthy sunlight, drink from a coconut, and wait for the sun to set.
If you’re looking for the closest beach bar and restaurant at Petitenget Beach, you can simply head down to Mano Bali. Seeing that it is a popular spot, you’ll need to reserve a seat ahead of time.
What’s cool about this beach club is the extended Happy Hours from 7 pm to 10 pm, where you can get cocktails for a better deal. Enjoy a romantic dinner with fine food, and don’t worry too much about dressing up – it’s a relaxed casual restaurant where people go to have fun.
6. Back to the villa
For couples in love, we offer the best 3-night package in a 1-bedroom villa guaranteeing absolute privacy and comfort. Bvilla is situated in the center of bustling Seminyak, and it is an ideal accommodation for both energetic city explorers and relaxed travelers
